HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.24818 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that he purchased house bearing No.3-36/2/1, comprised in 1815 Sq.Yards in Survey No.6/A, situated at Gopalapuram Village, Hanamkonda Mandal, Warangal District, by virtue of registered Sale Deed dated 14.11.2013 from Sri Bura Sambaiah vide registered document No.10029/2013. It is also stated that the house number was modified as 35-3-36/2/1 after the Gopalapuram Gram Panchayat was merged in the Warangal Municipal Corporation. Since the date of purchase the petitioner has been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said house and also paying taxes regularly. After purchase of the aforesaid house the petitioner made application for change of ownership in his favour on 29.01.2014 along with fee of Rs.12,745/-, but, till today, the petitioner's application is not being disposed of. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.Pingali Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3.

Since the application of the petitioner for change of ownership is stated to be pending before the respondent Corporation, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 2 and 3 to

dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 29.01.2014 for change of ownership in respect of subject property, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take action accordingly. No order as to costs.
