THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION No. 24410 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner's land, admeasuring Ac.2-00 in Survey No.473 of Peddakodur Village, M.R. Chinnakodur Mandal, Medak District, was acquired under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. He made a representation dated 15.12.2015 to the respondents for payment of compensation for 4,500 Nilgiri trees existing in his land, in accordance with law. His grievance is that his representation is not decided till date.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleaders for Land Acquisition, and Irrigation & Command Area Development, representing the respondents.

3. Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioner being limited, and the prayer innocuous, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to decide the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2015, in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner, in writing, within a week thereafter.
