The relief sought for in the Writ Petition is as follows: "to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in seizing and detaining my Lorry bearing Reg.No.AP-26-Y-4669 and registering the case U/s. 6-A of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Cr.No.53 of 2015 dt. 25.04.2015 as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust, and to grant such other relief as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is ready to furnish Bank Guarantee to the value of the stock seized in pursuance of the proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and also the value of the lorry.

Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to furnish Bank Guarantee to the value of the stock seized and also the value of the lorry that may be assessed by the concerned authorities.
