O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners in this case was as to the appointment of the fourth respondent as Village Revenue Officer of Kamasamudram Village, Atluru Mandal, Kadapa District. The petitioners seem to have made a representation on 30.06.2008 in this regard to the respondent authorities.

The District Collector, YSR District, Kadapa, filed a counteraffidavit wherein he stated that basing upon the allegations made against the fourth respondent, a show-cause notice was issued to him and upon consideration of his explanation, he was removed from service vide proceedings dated 06.07.2000 of his office. Aggrieved thereby, the fourth respondent filed an appeal before the Government on 21.01.2009, but the same was rejected under memo dated 14.07.2009. In the light of the aforestated facts, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
