At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.Venugopal, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of subsequent events, he is not pressing the writ petition.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, this withdrawal shall not influence the merits of the case in W.P.No.14116 of 2007.
