This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: ....writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondent No.3 in not granting orders to the petitioner institution for conversion of media or upgradation of existing recognition from Telugu medium to English medium and adding English Medium Classes from Class VIII to X respectively pursuant to memo No.5844/SE.Genl.A2/2016 dated 22.10.2016 issued by first respondent as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust...."

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner school has submitted representation dated 31.10.2016 to the Regional Joint Director of School Education, which is substantially on the same issue as agitated in this writ petition.

In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue the representation dated 31.10.2016 submitted to the Regional Joint Director of School Education. No costs.

Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
