Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology and Sri D.Pratap Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner, in the present Writ Petition, is that, despite the orders of the State Government, vide Memo No.10649/M.1(1)/2014-4, dated 05.08.2018, the second respondent herein is not taking any action. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, for redressal of its grievance, petitioner-Jajireddygudem Gram Panchayat submitted a representation on 27.04.2017 to the second respondent but no action has been taken so far, despite lapse of considerable length of time.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the second respondent to verify the representation, dated 27.04.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date
of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
