O R D E R
Aggrieved by the inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in providing police protection to the life and the subject property of the petitioner, in pursuance of the representation of the petitioner dated 4.6.2018, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, Jinnaram Police Station, stating that the dispute of the petitioner is civil in nature and unless there is specific direction to the respondents to provide police protection, no independent decision can be taken on the representation of the petitioner and that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of approaching civil court and obtaining orders. The representation of the petitioner is before the authorities and hence it is for them to take decision on the representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
In view of the same, the competent authority is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2018 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.
