Sri Mesram Hanumanthu, v. The Stat Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 30454 OF 2017 O R D E R:
The main grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that the 4th respondent has not been passing any orders in the suit filed by him on 19.08.2017.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare (Telangana), initially, has taken an objection as to the jurisdiction of the 4th respondent to entertain the suit. That being so, this Court, on 13.09.2017, directed the 4th respondent Project Director to rule on his own jurisdiction.
Today, the learned Government Pleader submits that the 4th respondent, having considered the legal position, has instructed that he is the competent authority to entertain the suit, hence, has taken steps to issue notice to the respondents in the suit and that the final orders would be passed within four weeks. Considering the nature of the relief sought for in this Writ Petition and keeping in view the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, the 4th respondent is directed to consider and pass necessary orders in the suit filed on 19.08.2017, within a period of four weeks from today. The respondents shall maintain status quo existing as on today, for a period of six weeks. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
