THE HON'BLE JUSTICE MOUSHUMI BHATTACHARYA AND THE HON'BLE JUSTICE B.R.MADHUSUDHAN RAO FAMILY COURT APPEAL NO.259 OF 2018 Mr. Suri Raghuram, learned counsel appearing for the appellant. Ms. K. V. Rajasree, learned counsel appearing for the respondent. JUDGMENT: (Per Hon'ble Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya) 1.

Both the parties are represented by counsel.

Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that the appellant has paid an amount of Rs.60 lakhs to the respondent in terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) arrived at between the parties on 16.01.2025. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has received the amount of Rs.60 lakhs from the appellant.

Paragraph No.2 of the MOU records that the appellant has paid an amount of Rs.60 lakhs to the respondent towards permanent alimony, marriage expenses of the daughters of the parties, and in full and final settlement of the respondent. 5.

The original Demand Draft is kept on record.

The parties shall have the liberty of approaching the Trial Court for necessary orders in terms of the effect given by the

parties to the MOU. The Trial Court shall pass necessary orders on application/s made for the same without any delay. 7.

F.C.A.No.259 of 2018, along with all connected applications, is disposed of by recording the payment made by the appellant in terms of the MOU.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
