2019-11-12P Naveen Rao3 pages

Date: 12.11.2019 Between :

Nagaladoddi Bethaiah Petitioner And State of Telangana, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Hyderabad and others.

Respondents This court made the following :

ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and perused the record.

2.

Petitioner claims to be absolute owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.3-15 guntas in Sy.No.57 and extent of Ac.116 guntas in Sy.No.123 situated at Yelgoi village, Manoor mandal, Sangareddy district. According to petitioner, in the revenue records, the above extent was correctly reflected, but after "Bhoo Prakshalana Scheme", the extent of land in Sy.No.57 is now shown as Ac.1-15 guntas. Therefore, petitioner made a representation in the prescribed form on 15.6.2019 which was acknowledged by the office of Tahsildar vide receipt No.18. Alleging inaction on the said representation, the present writ petition is filed. 3.

From the material averments on record, it is seen that petitioner is not aware of the reasons as to why his extent of land is reduced. If the Tahsildar has followed due procedure to reduce the extent of land and to replace the name of petitioner with third party in revenue record, the same should be informed to petitioner to work out his remedies under law. It is also to be noted whether after reducing, the balance extent of land is not reflected in the name of any other person. Therefore, the 4th respondent shall verify the same and take immediate steps and inform the action taken thereon to the petitioner. This exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J Date: 12.11.2019 DA
