HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.21260 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner to the police station though no case is registered against him and thereby preventing him from attending to his daily works.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that though Rowdy Sheet is opened against the petitioner in the year 1999 and the same was continued and the petitioner also attended the police station till 18.04.2016 and thereafter petitioner is absconding and he is not residing at the given address; that when once he is absconding and his whereabouts are not known, the question of harassing him and preventing him to attend his daily works does not arise. It is also submitted that in routine, the 4th respondent called the petitioner to the police station; and that the allegation that the petitioner on 30.05.2018 approached the 4th respondent and that the 4th respondent has detained him in the police station is also denied. Further in the written instructions it is also stated that the petitioner was involved in as many as five criminal cases; that except two cases he was acquitted in all criminal cases. But, petitioner has not given any details in the writ affidavit with regard to involvement in the criminal cases.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. However, if

petitioner is aggrieved by opening of Rowdy Sheet against him, he may challenge the same, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
