.....Respondents The Court made the following:

ORDER:

Petitioner earlier worked as Anganwadi Teacher in Korrathanda (Jalli) centre from 17.09.2008 to 31.08.2014. Her services were terminated. In the vacancy created subsequent to termination of her services, recruitment process is set in motion. According to petitioner, she had applied for the very same vacancy. Petitioner now claims that while considering her candidature, previous service rendered by her should be counted.

2.

As fairly submitted by learned counsel, there is no provision in the instructions/manual governing selection of Anganwadi Teacher to grant weightage of service rendered earlier in the same capacity. Therefore, no direction as sought for can be granted. Selections have to be made in accordance with the guidelines/instructions governing the selection of Anganwadi Teachers and if petitioner is otherwise suitable, she is entitled to compete in the selection. Writ Petition is dismissed accordingly. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________________ JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO Date: 26.06.2018 kkm
