HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.3524 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be working as driver Grade-II. According to the petitioner his services were regularized with effect from 01.05.1990 and has completed 25 years of service. By proceedings dated 19.02.2015 the benefit of Special Grade increment on completion of 20 years of service was extended to two drivers. But the same was not granted to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the denial of Special Grade increment on completion of 20 years, petitioner has submitted representation on 26.06.2015 followed by reminders on 28.10.2015 and 28.11.2015. But so far no orders are passed. Hence, this writ petition.

2. When the matter is taken up, both the counsel agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to pass orders on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Regional Manager (2nd respondent) to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 26.06.2015 followed by reminders dated 28.10.2015 and 28.11.2015, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
