Heard Mr.Mohd.Moin Ahmed Quadri for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners complain inaction of the 2nd respondent in disposing of the Appeal No.F1/2533/2017. In the fact situation of this case, the Joint Collector/2nd respondent considers disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within six (06) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The petitioners are given liberty to file copy of this order along with a memo and pray for expeditious disposal of the appeal.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. However, it is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits and it is for the appellate authority to pass orders on merits. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
