THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6468 of 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code questioning the order dated 30.01.2018 passed in Crl.M.P.No.64 of 2017 in M.C.No.214 of 2016 by the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge for trial of Jubilee Hills Car Bomb Blast Case-cum-Additional Family Court-cum-XXIII Additional Chief Judge-cum-IX AMSJ, Hyderabad, whereby the Sessions Judge granted interim maintenance @ Rs.10,000/- per month on various grounds.

During hearing learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to grant time for payment of arrears while directing the Sessions Judge to dispose of the maintenance case as expeditiously as possible fixing specific time.

In view of the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, without touching the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to direct the Sessions Judge to dispose of M.C.No.124 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible in any event not later than six months. Time for payment of arrears is extended for a period of two months from today. If any warrant is pending, the petitioner may approach the Court below by filing application under Section 70(2) Cr.P.C. to recall warrant.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
