Petitioner claims that his father late Allamraju Surya Rao, was appointed as Grade-III Vratha purohit vide proceedings dated 06.06.1998. He died on 29.09.2008 leaving behind petitioner, his mother and sister. At the time of his death, petitioner was minor. After attaining the age of majority and after obtaining necessary qualifications to perform Vratha purohitam petitioner requested to provide employment and submitted a representation on 17.01.2017. But so far the same is not acted upon, this writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel representing the respondent-temple, submits that since a representation is stated to have been made and the same is pending consideration, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to pass orders on the said representation within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to these submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Executive Officer, Sree Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Vari Devasthanam, A.Annavaram, (3rd respondent) to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, by assigning due reasons in support of his decision and communicate the same to the

petitioner. A decision to this effect shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
