Heard.

The petitioners, who are 16 in number, are stated to have made representation only on 25.11.2015 before the Joint Collector, Adilabad District, the 2nd respondent, bringing to his notice their grievance about the basic value adopted by the Tahsildar, Tandur Mandal, Adilabad District, the 4th respondent. While considering the applications of the petitioners for regularisation, according to the petitioners, the basic value is Rs.200/- per sq. yard, but the 4th respondent is demanding and collecting Rs.500/- per sq. yard. The date and number of the application of each of the petitioners is set out in the representation made before the 2nd respondent, who is the Grievance Redressal Authority, under G.O.Ms.No.59, dated 30.12.2014.

Apparently, the petitioners appear to have paid the value on their applications filed for regularisation at Rs.200/- per sq. yard and now seek clarification from the 2nd respondent. The present Writ Petition is filed keeping in view the last date for making full payment is 31.12.2015 and hence requested that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the grievance of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders expeditiously.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 25.11.2015, and pass appropriate orders thereon, expeditiously, preferably on or before 20.12.2015, so

that the petitioners would have approximately ten days time to make payment of balance amount, if any. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
