THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.24166 of 2019 ORDER:

Being aggrieved by the inaction of respondents 2 to 4 in investigating into the case in Crime No.278 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, against respondents 5 to 8, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 08.11.2019, which is placed on record of this Court, submits that on receipt of the complaint, dated 13.08.2019, from the petitioner, the aforestated Crime No.278 of 2019 was registered. During the course of investigation, L.Ws.1 to 5 were examined and their statements were recorded. He further submits that the respondent authorities have sent a requisition to the Tahsildar, Bhupalpally, with a request to issue caste certificates of L.W.1 and the accused and later obtained the same. Learned AGP submits that the case will be finalized expeditiously and a final report would be filed before the concerned Court. Having regard to the submission made by the learned AGP on behalf of the respondent authorities, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition, except directing the respondent authorities to complete the investigation into the matter, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
