In this writ petition, petitioner No.1 - Bank, who is the mortgagee of lands of unofficial respondents, seek a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 4 to consider representation dated 05.12.2006 for payment of compensation in respect of lands of respondent Nos.5 to 12 sought to be acquired for conversion of SRP 2 &2-A mines in the opencast mine by respondent Nos.2 to or to follow the procedure contemplated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. It is represented by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the matter has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
