When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, he submitted a representation on 23.03.2018 to the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise/ 2nd respondent, but no action has been taken so far on the said representation.

Eventually, a request is made by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to verify the said representation and take appropriation action in the matter.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if any such representation is pending consideration before the 2nd respondent, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken, as per law. Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the second respondent to verify the representation, dated 23.03.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders on the said representation, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
