Sri Kalagara Vigneswara Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.24773 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2.
Petitioner's grievance is that an appeal A.P.No.4/2011 (G) is pending before the 2nd respondent since 2011; that the said appeal arises under the AP Schedule Area (Ryotwari Settlement) Regulation 2 of 1970; and the said appeal was filed by 3rd respondent challenging grant of patta under the above Regulation to petitioner's father.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that 2nd respondent is not taking any action for deciding the said appeal in spite of the direction given by this Court on 27-06-2014 in W.P.No.30212 of 2011.
4. The learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that 2nd respondent will decide the said appeal within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to decide the said appeal within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and 3rd
respondent in accordance with law. No costs. 6.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
