HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD WRIT PETITION No. 973 of 2016 ORDER:

The inaction of respondent No.7, in investigating into Crime No.16 of 2015 on the file of Varikuntapadu Police Station, is questioned in the Writ Petition as being illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AP). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, though complaint was registered on 03.05.2015, the police have not completed investigation and filed charge sheet. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (AP) submits that investigation has been completed and charge sheet was filed on 28.03.2016 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Udayagiri.

As the charge sheet has been filed on 28.03.2016 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Udayagiri, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed.

The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
