THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.7391 of 2016 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order or direction one more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents calling petitioner to the 2nd respondent police station under the guise of threatening with dire consequences foisting false cases against the petitioner and his family is illegal, arbitrary and in violation of the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents harassing the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Written instructions dated 28.03.2016 were furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Vemulapalli Police Station, Nalgonda District, to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the complaint made by one Bantu Lachuvamma that her daughter, the third respondent herein, whose marriage was performed with the petitioner, had gone missing, Crime No.205 of 2015 was registered under the head 'Woman Missing'. During the course of investigation in this subject crime, the police authorities found that the missing woman was in Suryapet, Nalgonda District. Upon her examination, she stated that her marriage was solemnized with the petitioner in the presence of elders without her consent and therefore she went to her friend's house at Suryapet without informing the parents.
The third respondent was stated to have joined the company of her parents thereafter. In the light of these developments, the SubInspector stated that a final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Miryalaguda on 11.02.2016 referring the case as 'Action Dropped'.

In the light of the afore-stated facts, it is clear that the police authorities have no further reason to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner in the context of Crime No.205 of 2015. The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed.
