This writ petition is filed alleging inaction in deleting the property to an extent of Ac.9.94 cents in Sy.No.251 of Gollapuram Village, Hindupur Mandal, Anantapur District from the list of prohibited properties.

The material on record discloses that representation was made to the District Collector, Anantapur District and reliance was placed on the report submitted by the Revenue Divisional Officer to the District Collector on 28.11.2015 in support of the contention that the property ought to have been deleted from the list of prohibited properties.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government pleader produced orders issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.201 Revenue (Assgn.I) Department dated 05.05.2016, whereunder notification was published under Section 22-A (2) of the Registration Act (for short 'the Act'), notifying the properties as prohibited for registration under Section 22-A (1) (e) of the Act, and the property in issue is against Sl.No.9452.

In view of inclusion of the property in the prohibited list of properties under Section 22-A (1) (e) of the Act, the remedy available to the petitioner is to represent/submit application before the Committee constituted by the Government, in accordance with the directions issued by the Full Bench of this Court in

- 3 - "Vinjamuri Rajagopala Chary Vs State of Andhra Pradesh1", in Para No.35 (i) of the said judgment.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to make a representation/submit application to the Committee constituted by the Government. It is needless to observe that as and when such application is filed with the relevant documents, the Committee shall objectively consider the grievance and furnish suitable reply to the petitioner, as warranted by law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of submission of such application. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
