HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6465 of 2017 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioners/ A2 to A7, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.65 of 2017 of Chirala II Town Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506 and 509 r/ w 34 I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)(r)(s) and 2(Va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (for short 'the Act').

As the Crl.P.No.6577 of 2017 filed by the petitioner/ A1 therein, this Court, vide order dated 01.08.2017, is referred to follow the guidelines of the Apex Court dated 27.07.2017 in Crl.A.1265 of 2017 (SLP (Crl.) No.2013 of 2017 in Rajesh Sharma & Others Vs. State of U.P. & Another), there is no further order required in this Criminal petition, but for, to comply with the said directions passed by this Court in Crl.P.No.6577 of 2017 to investigate and not to arrest the petitioners unless report of the Committee on its constitution is received. However, this does not prevent securing of the petitioners/ A2 to A7 for interrogation.
