Since Sri M.Lakshmana Sarma, learned counsel for the appellant, is no more, this Court ordered notice to the appellant but the notice was returned with postal endorsement that the appellant died. In these circumstances, this Court has no option except to dismiss the appeal as abated by operation of law.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as abated. Pending miscellaneous petitions in this appeal, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No order as to costs.
