1st petitioner alleges that her father-in-law, by name, Tayub Khan was the pattadar and possessor of various extents of land mentioned in paragraph No.2 of the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition situated at Tosham Village, Gudihathnoor Mandal, Adilabad District. Petitioners 2 and 3 are the daughters-in-law and petitioners 4 and 5 are sons of late Tayub Khan. After demise of Tayub Khan, as all of them succeeded to the said property, the petitioners submitted representation dated 18.10.2016 for mutation of their names in the revenue records. Alleging inaction on the said representation, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3.

The material on record would disclose that no application as required under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 is made through online. Therefore, it cannot be said that the respondent authorities have not acted on the request made by the petitioners, assuming such request is genuine.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to follow the procedure as required by law for mutation of their names in the revenue records as regards the properties claimed by them. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
