Julus-E-Nabi Wo-Milad Committee v. The State Of Telangana And 5 Others
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR W.P.No.24299 OF 2019 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed questioning the action on the part of the respondent-Police in not according permission to the petitioner Committee for taking out Milad-un-Nabi Procession (Juloos) on 10.11.2019 and for a consequential relief to accord such permission.
2.
Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home and perused the record. 3.
The learned Government Pleader for Home would submit that the petitioner committee has made application on 21.10.2019 seeking permission for taking procession (Juloos), but having regard to certain events happened in previous years, the Police authorities are holding conciliation between two rival groups to avoid any unforeseen event. He further states that the matter is under active consideration and permission would be accorded to the petitioner Committee, however, subject to certain restrictions, which the authorities may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.
4.
Having regard to the said submission of the learned Government Pleader, no further orders are required to be passed. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
