Learned counsel for appellant, Sri Mahboob Hussain, addressed a letter dated 24.04.2017 to the Registrar (Judicial) stating that the matter has been settled, and sought permission for withdrawal of the appeal. In view of the letter addressed by the learned counsel for the appellant, since it is represented that the matter is settled, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
