THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1487 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was with regard to the delay in investigation in Crime No.385 of 2015 on the file of Gopalapuram Law and Order Police Station, Secunderabad.

Written instructions dated 08.03.2016 were furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Gopalapuram Police Station, Secunderabad, to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the complaint made by the sixth respondent, Crime No.231 of 2015 was registered on the file of Ramgopalpet Police Station, Secunderabad, under Section 420 I.P.C. The Sub-Inspector of Police further stated that on the point of jurisdiction, the said case was transferred to Gopalapuram Police Station, Secunderabad, and renumbered as Crime No.385 of 2015. After due investigation, the police found that a prima facie case was made out to proceed further and accordingly laid a charge sheet before the learned X Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, on 29.02.2016 and the Calendar Case number was awaited. The allegation of the petitioner that in the guise of investigation in the subject crime, the staff of the bank were harassed was denied.

In the light of the aforestated development, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives for consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
