THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.9947 and 9948 of 2017 in/and Criminal Petition No.9180 of 2017 ORDER :

Both the defacto-complainant and the petitioners 1 and 2/ accused persons in Cr.No.489 of 2016 of Cyber Crime Police Station, Visakhapatnam city registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.420 IPC and Sec.66-C and D of the Information Technology Act, present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and they sought permission vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.9947 and 9948 of 2017 to compound the offences by recording the compromise and therefrom quash the proceedings against the petitioners.

Heard both the parties and perused the record. In view of the compromise between the parties, they are permitted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.No.9947 and 9948 of 2017 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in Cr.No.489 of 2016 of Cyber Crime Police Station, Visakhapatnam city, against the petitioners herein and they are acquitted.
