HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.21139 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2018 for extension of the petitioner's parole period for a further period of 6 months i.e. from 25.06.2018 to 24.12.2018, as illegal and arbitrary. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that no application is made to the competent authority i.e. Prl.Secretary, Home Department, by the petitioner. As the counsel for the petitioner is not clear whether the petitioner has made application to the competent authority or not, he seeks liberty to make fresh application to the competent authority.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make fresh application to the competent authority i.e. Prl.Secreatary, Home Department and on such application being made the competent authority is directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 25.06.2018 t k.
