THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 21311 OF 2018 O R D E R:

Heard Sri R.A. Chary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). In this Writ Petition, the main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent authorities have not been disposing of his Application seeking permission to construct a building, dated 14.05.2018, over Plot No. 160 of Bhavanagar.

It is submitted across the Bar that this Court in identical facts and circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 37810 of 2015, directed that the Corporation shall reconsider the building permission Application of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 and the Rules and regulations framed there under.

In view of the same, this Writ Petition is also disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider the Application of the petitioner dated 14.05.2018 on its own merits and in accordance with the 1955 Act and the Rules made there under, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous Applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
