THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.35839 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring that the action of the respondents No.3 and 5 in opening and continuing a rowdy sheet against the petitioner in Saidabad Police Station and Task Force, East Zone and also calling the petitioner to the police station for no fault of his and using third degree is illegal and consequently direct the respondents No.3 and 5 to remove the name of the petitioner from the register of rowdy sheeter and further direct the respondents not to call and not to interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner was already closed and no further cause would survive in the writ petition. 4.
In the light of the submissions made by both the counsel, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed. 5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J 10th January 2020 mar
