THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C. BHANU WRIT PETITION No.14653 of 2015 ORDER:

The relief sought in the Writ Petition is as follows: "...........directing the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for formation of fish tank in his land situated in Sy.Nos.65, 55, 62, 61 and 60 of Gollakoderu Village, Palakoderu Mandal, West Godavari District, in accordance with the order of the District Collector dated 01.07.2014 granting provisional registration certificate in favour of the petitioner and in accordance with the orders of the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Bhimavaram dated 20.11.2014, by declaring the inaction of the respondents in providing police protection to the petitioner, is highly unjust, illegal and violative of the orders of the District Collector and Assistant Director of Fisheries."

Admittedly, the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Bhimavaram addressed a letter, dated 20.11.2014 to the Station House Officer, Palakoderu Police Station to give sufficient protection to the petitioner as he was granted a license by the District Collector.

Therefore, the respondents - police are directed to act upon the letter, dated 20.11.2014 addressed by the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Bhimavaram, to the Station House Officer, Palakoderu Police Station. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
