ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not issuing appointment order to the petitioner though her name was figured at SL.No.10 in the final selection list of candidates dt 14.08.2018 for the post of Anganwadi Teacher, Keshamnenipally Village, P.A Mandal, Nalgonda District as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Circular Memo No. 4207/ICDS3/2016, dt 02.06.2017 and violation of Article 14 of Indian Constitution and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to issue appointment orders to the petitioner for the post of Anganwadi Teacher and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri T.Rajinikanth Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the notification issued by the respondents, she has applied for the post of Anganwadi Teacher, Keshamnenipally Village, P.A.Mandal, Nalgonda District. She fared well in the selection

process, and she was placed at Sl.No.10. Though she is coming within the zone of consideration, the respondents are not considering her case for appointment to the post of Anganwadi Teacher. Hence, she submitted a representation to the respondents on 17.09.2018 to consider her case for appointment in terms of the circular memo dated 2.6.2017. But, so far, no orders have been passed thereon. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.09.2018 submitted by the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that the respondents would consider the representation dated 17.09.2018 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.09.2018 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders by duly taking into consideration the circular memo dated 2.6.2017 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall stand closed. No orders as to costs.
