HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.24378 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking Mandamus to declare action of respondent No.7 in not filing Final Report in Crime No.153 of 2018, dt.07.06.2018 of SHO, Chandrayangutta Police Station, Hyderabad, as arbitrary and illegal. Heard Sri Mohd. Akhlaq Miya, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 7.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions dt.18.12.2019 submits that after receiving the private complaint lodged by the petitioner before the Hon'ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Hyderabad, Crime No.153 of 2018 of SHO, Chandrayangutta Police Station, was registered and the matter was investigated into and on completion of investigation and after obtaining necessary permission from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Falaknuma Division, vide proceedings No.617-619/FR/ACP/FN-DIVN/2019, dt.17.12.2019, and after serving notice to the petitioner, Final Report was filed before the Hon'ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad,

TVK,J W.P.No.24378 of 2019 as "LACK OF EVIDENCE", vide SR.No.10977/2019, dt.18.12.2019.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents, since Final Report has already been filed before the Court concerned, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said Final Report, she is at liberty to approach the authority concerned seeking appropriate relief in accordance with law.

With the above observation, this writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
