HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.39637 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in passing orders either in the stay application or in the revision petition filed the by the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that though he filed a revision vide ROC No.D4/850/2016 before the Joint Collector, challenging the order passed by the RDO in ROC No.G/4230/2012 on 11.05.2015, till date no orders are passed thereon. Learned AGP would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the revision, if not already disposed of. Considering the rival submissions made and since the revision is filed in the month of January, 2016, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector to dispose of the revision petition itself, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and all concerned, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
