08.06.2023 HCJ & NTRJ This writ petition seeks inclusion of para sports in the list of recognized sports as mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.74 dated 09.08.2012 which provides for 2% reservation under sports quota.

In the proceedings held on 29.12.2022, it was submitted on behalf of respondent No.1 that the matter was under active consideration. Today in hearing Ms.Sunitha, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents prays for two (2) weeks time as the matter is under active consideration of the Government.

We make it clear that by the next date if nothing tangible is placed, Court may consider passing necessary orders.
