Heard the counsel for petitioner, Sri K. Sarva Bhouma Rao for respondent nos.1 and 2, and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (Andhra Pradesh) for respondent nos.3 and 4. 2.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to respondents to transfer Rehabilitation Card No.549 (which was in the name of the petitioner's father, viz., Karri Appala Naidu), in favour of petitioner, and appoint the petitioner in any suitable job under rehabilitation scheme apart from awarding adequate compensation for the delay in appointing the petitioner.

Admittedly, the petitioner has given representations dt.07.09.2016 and 16.09.2016 to the 1st respondent only, whereas the appropriate authority to consider petitioner's representation is the 4th respondent.

Therefore, the petitioner is granted two weeks' time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to make representation to 4th respondent for transfer of the Rehabilitation Card No.549 issued to his father and for appointment of petitioner in any suitable job under the Rehabilitation Scheme, and for award of adequate compensation for the delay in appointing petitioner; and on receipt of the said

representation, the 4th respondent will consider the same in accordance with law and communicate his decision thereon to petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks of the submission of the petitioner on his representation to the 4th respondent.

If the 4th respondent considers favourably the petitioner's representation, he shall mark a copy of it to respondent nos.1 and 2 and thereupon the respondent nos.1 and 2 shall take further action to consider appointing petitioner in any suitable job under the Rehabilitation Scheme in the 1st respondent-Organization and award adequate compensation for the delay in appointing petitioner if such compensation is payable to petitioner as per law, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of communication from the 4th respondent.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
