ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the notices, dated 01.08.2012, 17.08.2012, 13.09.2012, 24.09.2012, 09.10.2012 and 12.12.2012 issued by respondent Nos.1 and 2 directing the petitioners to surrender records for holding fresh elections as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, Ms.Shreevani, learned counsel representing Mr.J.P.Srikanth, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the cause in the writ petition has ceased to survive. In view of the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 04.01.2013, is vacated and W.P.M.P.Nos.51233 and 51234 of 2012 filed by the petitioners for interim reliefs shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
