THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.30341 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to continue as Archaka of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam, Vadapalli, Atreyapuram Mandal, East Godavari District as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had filed O.A.No.34 of 2016 on the file of the Endowments Tribunal, State of Andhra Pradesh at Pedakakani to declare him as hereditary Archaka of 4th respondent temple.

The only relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the Endowments Tribunal may be directed to dispose of the O.A.No.34 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible. The learned Government Pleader for Endowments and the learned standing counsel for Endowments also consented for the same.

In view of the submissions made by both counsel, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel, the Endowments Tribunal, Pedakakani is hereby directed to dispose of the

O.A.No.34 of 2016, pending on its file, as expeditiously as possible.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
