THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P. No.16694 of 2003 ORDER:

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking promotion to the post of Junior Scale Officer.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the counsel for the petitioners submits that since the petitioners have attained the age of superannuation, the cause in the writ petition may not survive; however, contends that the petitioners may be permitted to make a representation to the respondents for grant of notional benefits. 2.

This Court, having considered the said submission, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to submit their representations to the respondents for grant of notional benefits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and upon such representations being filed, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. 3.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, stand closed. ________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J Date: 20.12.2018 DMG
