.....Petitioner and The State of Telangana, re.by its Secretary, Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department, Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad and others.

.....Respondents The Court made the following:

ORDER:

According to petitioner, though he was selected by direct recruitment as Assistant Executive Engineer, on the ground that he secured the Degree in Engineering by correspondence mode, he was not granted employment. Aggrieved thereby, he filed O.A.No.5942 of 2013 before the A.P.Administrative Tribunal. 2.

In view of interim orders granted by the Administrative Tribunal, he was appointed and he has been working. The present grievance of petitioner is that his services were not regularized. 3.

According to learned counsel for petitioner, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University preferred appeal before the Supreme Court vide Civil Appeal No.3697-3698 regarding qualification issue. Supreme Court, by the judgment dated 10.04.2018, held that the Degrees granted by the University to the candidates admitted up to academic year 2009-2010 may not be disturbed. According to learned counsel, in view of the said judgment, petitioner ought to have been regularized. 4.

However, petition has not submitted representation to the employer requesting him to take note of the directions issued by the Supreme Court and to grant service benefits as claimed by him in the present writ petition, and directly invoked the jurisdiction of this Court.

5.

At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner seeks leave of the Court to submit representation to the respondents 1 and 2. That being so, writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the

petitioner to make a representation ventilating his grievances. It is needless to observe that as and when such representation is made, the competent authority shall consider the same in the light of judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.36973698 and communicate the decision to the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
