Heard learned counsel for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner since has already lodged protest, it is open to the 4th respondent to treat the same as caveat and act in accordance with law. It is made clear that the 4th respondent, if proposes to proceed against petitioner, in any manner subject to the patta being genuine, is under obligation to issue notice and proceed in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
