THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 16203 OF 2017 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition has been filed to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in trying to change the name of Nagaram Singh Colony situated in Khammam, at the behest of some vested interests, though the said name was approved by the then Gram Panchayat in its Resolution dated 28.01.2005, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N. Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent Municipal Corporation.

In the facts of the present case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the objections of the petitioner if any proposal to change the name of Nagaram Singh Colony is mooted. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
