HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.21236 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 5 and 6 in calling the petitioners to the police station without following due process of law.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that basing on the complaint of one Bhupal Reddy, a case in Crime No.3082018 was registered against the 1st petitioner under Sections 447, 427, 506, r/w.34 IPC, dated 30.01.2018;

that during the course of investigation, the complainant and LWs.2 and 3 were examined and their statements were also recorded; and that the case is pending investigation for examination of some more witnesses and collection of evidence. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. However, it goes without saying that the respondents shall follow due procedure for investigation and for taking further steps. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
