Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 3 & 5 and learned Government Pleader for Cooperation for respondents 4 and 6.

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents 1 to 3 in not taking action on the report submitted by the 5th respondent-The District Collector, vide Lr.No.LC2/612/1990 dated 21.01.2019 and the report of 4th respondent-Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, vide Rc.No.10192/2017-HR-2 dated 18.04.2019 as bad, arbitrary and illegal.

During the course of arguments, learned Counsel for petitioners, Sri C.Damodar Reddy, placed before this Court, the Memo No.53613/Assn.II (2)/2009-16 dated 30.09.2019, wherein, the attention of District Collector, Ranga Reddy was invited to the earlier reference of the Government and requested to conduct plot wise survey in the lay out laid in the land situated in Sy.Nos.203/1/3/1, 204 to 209 and 210/1/3, to an extent of Ac.50-00 to Hyderabad District Public Servants Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., and furnished details of the allottees plot wise.

In proceeding No. LC2/612/1990 dated 11.10.2019, the District Collector, constituted Committee of five members and directed the Committee to submit report on eight issues mentioned therein, concerning allotment of land to the Hyderabad District Public Servants Cooperative Housing Society

- 3 - Ltd., and issues concerning therein. The Committee was directed to finalize the report by 31.10.2019.

Learned Government Pleader informs the Court that Committee has completed 75% of the exercise and 25% of the exercise is remaining and the same would be completed shortly. 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that not only finalizing the report as directed by the District Collector in his letter dated 21.01.2019, but the Committee should also take into consideration of the report of the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, dated 18.04.2019.

In view of the subsequent developments, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Collector to ensure that the Committee constituted by him, completes the exercise and submits report duly taking note of the letter dated 21.01.2019 and the report of the Commissioner dated 18.04.2019, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also to be noted that challenging the proceedings in LC2/612/1990 dated 11.10.2019, W.P.No.24057 of 2019 is filed. Therefore, whatever steps taken pursuant to the direction of the District Collector and the report of the Commissioner and subsequent directions of Government dated 30.09.2019 would abide the result of W.P.No.24057 of 2019. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
