This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.168 of 2013 of Kadapa I Town Police Station U/G, Kadapa, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 506 and 509 IPC.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner/accused and the de facto complainant compromised the matter before the Lok Adalat on 25.07.2015 and nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

Recording the submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
